1.  Everyone wear the St. Bernadette sweater and blue/black socks.

Spelling Words and Homework November 13-16, 2018

On Tuesday, please have your child write each spelling word 3 times; once with a pencil, once with a crayon, and once with a coloring pencil.

On Wednesday, please have your child complete Math pgs 29-30.

On Thursday, please have your child write one sentence for each spelling word.

Each evening your child should either read or be read to for 15 minutes.  Please complete the reading log.

Please remember to study for the spelling test on Friday! We will not have a Religion test this week.

Please return the entire packet on Friday morning in the folder.

Please remember to send in either earbuds/earphones for your child asap as we will need them for the reading and math centers.

November 13 – November 16

We are having reading groups and Daily Five.  In phonics we will test consonant sounds and begin to learn vowel sounds.  We will write about Thanksgiving in our journals.  In writing we will review proper and common nouns.  In Math we will add three addends using addition strategies, and practice doing word problems.  In Religion we will  learn about baptism.  In Social Studies we will learn about Thanksgiving.

 

Important Dates this week

November 14 - School picture retakes and club pictures. If you would like to have your child's picture taken again, please return the original pictures and the photographer will do a retake. Please have your child dress in the full winter uniform if they will be getiing pictures taken
