Kindergarten

K 14 StB 0416 Fr Don with primary Copy ccexpressThe Kindergarten program at Saint Bernadette Catholic School provides a strong foundation for our students. Through experiences in math and language arts, children learn about money and time, simple addition and subtraction, how to read, write, and build on existing communication skills. Classrooms have a full time assistant to help meet the developmental needs of each child.

Our students are exposed to a wide variety of ideas through music, technology, Spanish, art and PE, in addition to science and social studies. Highlights of Kindergarten include a visit from the local fire department, the annual Thanksgiving feast, and learning about holidays and traditions.

Your child will learn about God through religion class, an emphasis on virtue, and participation in Mass and prayer. Kindergarten students dress up for All Saints Day, and parents excitedly visit for the annual Mommy and Daddy Masses.

Our Kindergarten students begin to develop independence, and every day is exciting as children look forward to seeing their new friends at school!
