Overview: Our School Counselor is Mr. Andrew Raab. He came to Saint Bernadette in 2017 and has been working as a school counselor in the Diocese since 2000. He holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Marymount University.

Mission: To work with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the community to help our students succeed in school and prepare them for a meaningful and productive living.
What does a School Counselor Do?
- Direct Student Services: These are in -person interactions with students and parents. It is through these interactions, students and families develop the skills and attitudes for successful academic or personal/social achievement and development.
- Direct Instruction: Providing in-person instruction with students in the classroom or small groups.
- Indirect Student Services: Work with parents, teachers and administrators in providing services on behalf of students. This includes collaborating with other educators and community professionals to support student achievement and success.
